In Cockroach Soup players work together to create a soup from leeks, peppers, carrot and mushrooms – but they won't always be saying which ingredient they're adding to the pot!
The 128 cards – 112 vegetable cards in the four types and 16 "taboo" vegetable cards, four of each type that bear cockroaches – are shuffled and divided among the players. On a turn, a player plays the top card from his deck onto the central pile of cards, naming the vegetable as he plays it, e.g., "Pepper!" – except in the following situations:
- If his vegetable matches the previously played vegetable, the player must lie.
- If his vegetable matches the claim made by the previous player (perhaps because that player lied), then the player must lie.
- If he plays a taboo card, which shows a cockroach slurping from a spoon, he must slurp and the next player starts a new pile next to the first one so that the taboo card remains visible.
- If his vegetable matches a visible taboo card, he must slurp – unless the last person who played such a card slurped, in which case he must say, "Mmmm".
Make a mistake or stumble or hesitate too long, and a player must pick up all cards played to that point in the game. The first player to run out of cards wins!

Shipment Processing Time
All orders, if the item was in-stock at the time of purchase, are processed within 2 business days of the order being placed, or, if the item was out of stock at the time of purchase, within 2 business days of the product arriving in store.
Preorders are processed in a timeframe that allows for the product to arrive on or after the release date.
If an item is 'Order-in', it can vary how long this item takes to come into stock from our suppliers. If in stock at our supplier, it is likely to be 2-3 weeks to arrive in store. Other times, items may be out of stock at suppliers, and while we do our best to ensure our website it up to date, we have thousands of products on our site, and technology hasn't quite caught up for us to pull information from all our suppliers and the availability of each and every product, and have this update regularly. If you require a product ETA, please contact us at the time you place your order.
Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or public holidays.
If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.
Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates
Orders (including PO Boxes and Parcel Lockers) will be shipped via our shipping client Shippit, which includes courier partners such as Couriers Please, Aramex, and AusPost Parcel Post at a flat rate of $15 per order. Please note parcels have authority to leave, unless you request otherwise.
If shipped via Standard Parcel Post, it is up to the discretion of the individual courier whether your parcel is left at your residence or taken to the nearest depot or post office. We do not have any control of a parcel once it has been picked up from our store(s).
Express Post orders are shipped via the Aus Post Express service and are charged at a $28 flat rate. Please note that not all post codes are covered by this service.
Delivery delays can occasionally occur, especially during peak periods such as Black Friday and Christmas, or by weather events.
